Kay Jay is an American songwriter and artist from Chicago. Kay Jay started creating music as a career just off of the strength of loving how he could create a song and a listener could interpret it a hundred different ways. The creativity side of music is his therapy. Life has thrown him many dark obstacles, but being in the booth helps to vent his own personal issues as well as it allows him to speak his story into his artform.
