We go by the name “Selfish Ways“, we rep Los Angeles, California.

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

We got inspired to create the album through current experiences. Which collectively ended up creating a very unique diverse album.

What is unique about you and your music?

What is unique about us is, we’re not afraid to explore outside the box. We feel that we are more then just rappers, singers and songwriters. We are the new age Rockstars.

What shaped your music?

Our music speaks for itself, we’re setting a new tone of energy & boundaries in the music industry.

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

Real life experiences, pain, survival guilt, betrayal, happiness, love, memories helped shape our music.

What type of music do you listen to?

Since the age of 5 and 7, we knew that music played a major role in our life.

What inspires you to write music?

Old school 90s rnb, classic pop rock, 80s music and of course early 2000-2022. We enjoy listening to any music that makes us feel good.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

Conversations, memories, and experiences are all the key factors when it comes to writing our music.

Happiness to you is…

When not creating music, we tend to ride dirt bikes, travel, play xbox, meditate and just continue to live.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?

Happiness to us, is being able to remain peaceful within, no matter the circumstances. Just being content and grateful to be able to experience life.

Wish that we were warned about all the false promises, pretenders, and leeches in this industry.

Where do we find you music / music projects?

But then again experience is the true teacher. And without the knowledge. How could we truly be grateful for our success without our struggles.
