Virginia-based musician Haisai Maché has shared a new EP called Mr. Hunchback. Featuring versatile, vivid production and engaging, catchy vocals that draw influence from an eclectic variety of genres including dance music, hip-hop, alt-pop and more, Maché delivers a series of 4-tracks that are expansive, textural, and infectious.
The title track “Mr. Hunchback” opens the EP with a catchy, bright instrumental that blurs the line between house, pop, and hip-hop. Here, lively synths and warm guitars drift atop addictive, pumping percussion, making it difficult for the listener to sit still. Maché comes through with a series of engaging verses, and caps them off with a vivid hook atop the bright instrumentation.
